We are a big Super Bowl family; my parents were married the year the Super Bowl started and I was born on Super Bowl Sunday! In honor of one of our favorite family events, I have created 2 fan flair buttons, one for each team. I put them in alphabetical order as to not show favoritism, but I will be keeping a tally of which one is downloaded the most and I'll be posting updates here. Let's see if the fan favorite wins the big game!!!

Forever Calendar with BONUS FREEBIE by ABCreations

This unique calendar system let's you purchase once and make calendars every year for the rest of time!

There are 7 grids (each one has the first begin on a different day of the week) each with 31 days, if the month has less than 31 days just erase the days you don't need, or color white on top of the numbers. Each grid has a spot for Appointments or Notes.

Add the month and year in your favorite alphas or just type them in with your favorite font. Put in birthdays and any pictures, quotes or elements you would normally include in your layouts.

Dinosaur feet!

Usually I only post digital projects, but I've been wanting to do something hands-on crafty lately and this was perfect!

In the March 2011 issue of Disney's Family Fun Magazine, they had a great project I knew my 2 year old son would love -- Dinosaur Feet! First, I gathered some supplies: two empty tissue boxes, masking tape, scissors, green tissue paper, and mod podge (a decoupage medium).

Next, I took the tissue boxes and reinforced them with masking tape and also made the hole smaller (where Eric's foot would go). (I forgot to take a picture of this, thankfully there was one picture in the magazine and this was it, lol!)

Then I covered the tissue box with mod podge and light green tissue paper, I crinkled up the tissue paper really well so it would have some great dino skin texture. After it dried, I cut some dark green tissue paper into circles and cut the circles in half, these represent scales and I glued them up all 4 sides of each tissue box.

Next, I added the finishing touches of the claws by cutting a sponge lengthwise and then into triangles. I glued 3 claws to the end of each tissue box.

I found this great dinosaur head hat/mask at the dollar store! (It is labeled dino head, but sorta looks more like an alligator to me, oh well.)

Ta Da!

Evie decided she liked the dinosaur feet and hat too, lol!

Are you ready for Super Bowl Sunday?!?

We are a big Super Bowl family; my parents were married the year the Super Bowl started and I was born on Super Bowl Sunday! In honor of one of our favorite family events, I have created 2 fan flair buttons, one for each team. Here is how my handwriting turned out! I love it and use it all the time! I have been wanting to do it for ages and my OCD is pleased that words like "deer" or "food" that have the same letters next to each other look identical! yea! There is even a signature built in as part of the font so you can sign your name to whatever you'd like!
