Paper Scrapbooking: Ideas

Are you looking for some fresh and new ideas on what to scrapbook or how to make your next album so fun that it’s done in a flash? Well here are some great scrapbooking ideas to try on your next album or layout to capture the essence of your stories/memories and preserve them for generations to come.

Make your scrapbooking album a family project. Take photos of your family members from all different times, split up the pages and pictures evenly and let everyone do a few pages from their own perspectives. Have each person dedicate one of the pages to another family member.

Make a scrapbooking album with a friend. Collaborate on an album of memories that you share so that you can continue to share them every time you pick up the album. Make a copy of each page so you can both have a copy of the album to cherish. It’s nice to know that even if you haven’t seen someone in a while, that you haven’t forgotten each other or the wonderful times you have shared. Looking through those cherished memories will help you remember there are even more good times to come!

Make a birthday album by having everyone at the party sign a page of the album and write a note to the birthday boy or girl. Take a picture of each person so you can put it next to their birthday note. Take a group picture to be included in the album too. What a perfect birthday present to enjoy again and again!

And always do a little journaling in your own handwriting, even though you may not be fond of your handwriting, it will mean so much to future generations. The sky is the limit when it comes to scrapbooking ideas, that’s why it’s so much fun! What is your favorite subject to scrapbook?
